I am a US Alpine Ski racer and 2 time Olympian currently competing on the FIS Audi World Cup speed circuit. Outside of skiing I am an avid adventurer, enthusiastic friend, and recent graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Growing up in Buffalo NY with five siblings, I took an alternative path to the US Ski Team. I was a chaotic skier from a tiny mountain in Western New York and only able to train a couple times a week. I knew my path made me the underdog and this mindset fueled my passion for always improving on and off the hill. As I continued my pursuit of my World Cup and Olympic dreams, I didn’t take the conventional path of foregoing school, but instead, continued pursuing my studies at Dartmouth College while competing internationally. This feat was challenging, but it allowed me to grow tremendously, as I was forced to reflect and prioritize what was really important to me and focus on efficiency and hard work.

When looking at my results to date, I am most proud of my commitment, passion and individuality. As I continue my career on the World Cup, I hope to inspire others to step out of tradition and find new ways to create their own speed in ski racing and life.

For more history on my story and what ski racing means to me you can read this blog post.

My Mission

I am determined and excited to not only continue my pursuit of World Cup success but also to use my platform to inspire young athletes to work hard at their passions and never stop believing in their dreams.

From learning to overcome setbacks and challenges, to redefining what success means to me, I have learned much from ski racing and continue to grow tremendously. I want to encourage other young athletes, especially girls, to feel this empowerment through sport.

Additionally, I hope to demonstrate to others through my own experiences that there is not one set path to success, and if you really believe in yourself you can achieve much more than you thought possible.
